Types of Writing an Essay - How to Outline and Write the Body of Your Essay

Types of Writing an Essay - How to Outline and Write the Body of Your EssayThere are basically two types of writing in the essay: the outline and the body. The outline will summarize all information from the essay, while the body will contain your conclusions. In this article we will discuss both of these parts.- An outline will help you organize your thoughts and put them in a form that they can be easier to understand. An outline should have all the points that you will be making in your essay as headings. You should also include paragraphs that will connect the main points with one another. Some people like to list all the points in order of their importance, others feel it's better to list them in their chronological order.- A body is where you go into detail about what you are talking about in your essay. You need to work out a thesis statement that is based on what you are writing about. You should also have a conclusion for each topic that you are covering.- There are two kind s of bodies. One way is to list all the points you are discussing and leave the rest of the body blank. The other way is to write down the points in the order of their importance and then list them one at a time. Now that you know how to outline and write the body, we can look at the most important parts of an essay. The first is the introduction. This is something that you should write down in its entirety. It should introduce yourself and give your reader a brief description of your subject.Next comes the summary. This should present your main point in as few words as possible. It should do this by creating a cloud of words around your main point. Another way to do this is to avoid using the word 'but' in the body of your essay. Instead, you should say something like 'in order to establish the main point...' or 'to emphasize the effect...' This way you show the effect without discussing the cause of it.The last paragraph is your conclusion. Make sure that you get everything in this section in the same order that the parts were stated in the body. Just like the body, you should make sure that you follow this rule when writing the conclusion: avoiding the use of the word 'but.'One more thing you can do to help improve your essay is to reread your essay several times. When you go back over your essay, you will be able to catch typos and other errors that you might have made. By doing this, you will improve your overall writing skills and help you succeed in college.
